Having a well-trained dog will considerable enhance the joys of pet ownership. The more time and effort you invest in training your puppy early on, the greater the rewards will be as you bond with your dog.

Dogs can live for 10-15 years (varying with the breed) and are a big commitment. We cannot stress how important it is to institute a good training program from the beginning.

We hold PUPPY CLASSES at Gordon Vet Hospital run by qualified dog trainers and instructors.

Jenny Daniel and Jann Day hold our puppy classes on Saturdays at 1pm for 1 hour sessions. We recommend puppies attend these sessions starting at between 8-16 weeks of age. These classes run once weekly for 4 weeks. This is an important period of socialisation for your puppy and give a chance for some basic enjoyable training in a fun environment with other pups.

All puppies attending our classes will receive a complimentary puppy pack including essential information on puppy care, behaviour and food samples.
